Hydrobromic acid, an aqueous solution of hydrogen bromide, is a strong acid with a saturated hydrobromic acid concentration of 48% (mass ratio) at room temperature.
Hydrobromic acid is an aqueous solution of hydrogen bromide with a pKa of − 9 and is more acidic than hydrochloric acid, but less acidic than hydroiodic acid. It is one of the strongest inorganic acids.

Hydrobromic acid is mainly used for the production of inorganic bromides, scavenging of alkoxides and phenolates, substitution of hydroxyl groups in substitution reactions, and addition to olefins. It can also catalyze mineral extraction and certain alkylation reactions.

Do not touch the leakage directly, and stop the leakage under the condition of ensuring safety. It can also be washed with a large amount of water, and the diluted wash water is put into the waste water system.
